The
project
related to war :
This area would use social modeling to clearly outline all of the possible true and root causes and factors, of war and then used to develop a solution from there. This can be done on generic concepts of war or specific, concieved, existing, or past wars. The
oil war
for example may be clearly modeled as ended if the main oil consumers all stop purchasing oil and oil based products from the middle east.
But the struggles all seem to be over land or other resources. And to allow full spread of information, it may become possible to convince the citizens of the varying countries that their goals are not good and to change. Many situations are more involved, but information that is true, verifiable, correct, and defeats mis-information campaigns may be just the tool to resolve some wars.
Again, social modeling to describe and examine situations in general or specific, combined with collaborating with others and brainstorming solutions can make quite a difference in many, maybe most, or possibly all wars.
My hope is to have eliminated war and the "need" or desire for war to the point there are no more weapons.
These are comments that Fejj has to say on war :
War generally seems to be something that is created by a few people who manage to convince a large population to build, maintain and execute an aggressive force, usually a form of military. When using war, it is a mechanism for those who control or manipulate the militaries to try and achieve their own goals, which are almost always of a greed nature - either take something away from someone else (like land), or keep it from being taken away.
Interesting to me is how in the united states of america it is discussed about how war is necessary, inevitable, and even good. I reject these concepts, and I feel that is all a part of the brainwashing to get the citizens to support war efforts.
Although war may not suddenly end or be a single problem to deal with, the number and extent of wars can be quickly reduced. In general this would occur by developing systems that enable the citizens of countries to be informed and carefully rethink and make alternate choices when their government decides to take them to war.
Through the systems created by the project, people will work together and create mechanisms through which they will not only make an effort to stop or prevent war themselves, but work with others to help bring them to the same goals. A key part of this would probably be the spread of logical organized information that people will learn to consider their actions, direct and indirect, and what they are doing to others. Specifically, by making clear that any supportive functioning role in society is helping it pursue it's government's goals, and to choose to do otherwise is the only option to not support a war effort. Beyond that, the project should make it possible for everyone to clearly state their position on a military or other war like action, before that action is taken.
I feel a big factor is going to be getting people to realize what I call a principle of responsibility lies in action. When everyone understands that what they do or not do, is their own responsibility, and not that of others who tell them to do or not do things, then I think a lot of things will change, especially in regards to war. If everyone who is a part of something understands that is the case and they have the ability to change that, then things can change.

A sort of odd concept, but one I think is interesting in visualizing the situations, is when using the government plays a parental role concept, war becomes a "my daddy can beat up your daddy" mentality.
